Drive to Colombo

On arrival at the airport meet our English speaking driver/guide. Thereafter travel directly to the commercial capital city of Colombo. You may either spend the day relaxing by the pool or visiting the Colombo City.

Drive to Sigiriya

After breakfast drive to Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. It is a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. This site was selected by King Kasyapa(477 – 495 BC) as his Kingdom. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best preserved examples of ancient civilisation.

In the afternoon enjoy an exciting safari experience at Minneriya National Park. Overnight stay in Habarana/Sigiriya.

Drive to Polonnaruwa.

After breakfast discover the historical city of Polonnaruwa, where kings ruled the central plains of Sri Lanka 800 years ago. The glories of that age can be found in archaeological treasures in the city. Overnight stay in Polonnaruwa/Habarana

Drive to Kandy.

After breakfast drive to Kandy, is a large city in central Sri Lanka surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforests. Kandy is famous for its lake and sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa).

Drive to Galle.
