Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, where you can spot elephants, leopards, wild buffaloes, deer, bears and many more wild animals. Yala National Park is the Jungle Book brought to glorious life. The park is situated in the dry semi-arid climatic region and rain is received mainly during the northeast monsoon. It is one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in the island. A safari here is well worth all the time.

The tour starts from Colombo / Airport, where you are picked up by bhsrilanka taxi diver and continue to Yala National Park.
After entering the national park with your guide in a jeep, you can spot several species of birds and other animals that have made their homes in this sanctuary. Your safari could be focused on leopards, elephants, birds etc. Depending on your interest, you are taken through most of the Yala National Park, covering the wetlands, grasslands, forest patches, etc. We can make longer stops at certain watering holes for unique photography opportunities. We also stop at a designated spot overlooking the ocean or a river where you can get down, stretch your legs and enjoy the view.
In the afternoon we can visit Yatal Temple and Thissamaharama Lake.
